  • Affected:
    • Microscope booking calendars
    • \\MINSKY  \\
    • MHmicroscopy domain
    • and others......
  • Note that any mappings on your computers directly to i.p. numbers of the servers will no longer work since the i.p. numbers have changed.
  • The Michael Hooker Microscopy Facility shut down on July 31, 2014 under instructions from iBGS and the Office of Research
  • Please use your existing  MHmicroscopy credentials for logging onto remaining workstations, booking and access to the file server \\
  • Remaining resources will be moved to various other locations
  • Users who want to use the Olympus Fluoview in NRB should contact Michael.
  • The upright Nikon with high resolution color camera is available: Hooke system - Upright Nikon fluorescence microscope with color CCD camera - This system is running again.  Hardware has been repaired.
  • Upright Nikon 80i for fluorescence and transmitted light is available - medium resolution color camera & low resolution color camera are availbale TB room 6024.  Contact Michael in order to discuss access.
  • Members of the Cystic Fibrosis Center and Alcohol Center and Stan Lemon lab. are welcome to (and should) ask Michael for assistance.
  • \\minsky the file server is available.  All may ask Michael for assistance about passwords and access.  The current plan is to shut down \\minsky for legacy MHMF users in August of 2016.  Until then your data is available.  CF-Center, Bowles Center Alcohol Studies will continue to have access to \\Minsky past \Aug 2016.  Gene Therapy Center data will also be preserved.
  • Computer workstation \\Schott is in room 7208 Marsico Hall.  \\Brewster will be available in 7208 Marsico Hall late Jan 2016.
