Acquisition:

• Background Correction of unevenness of illumination for transmitted light images

Viewing:

• Zeiss 510 confocal image databases

Processing:

• General Image overlaying
• Convert B/W image to color using Photoshop

• Photoshop class:  There is a very good series of 1 hour classes on Photoshop basics available for free through UNC-SOM Educational Technology Group. The series generally runs every month.  Wendy highly recommends the first three classes for working with microscopy images, especially for novice Photoshop users. 
• Image registration / realignment

• Cell / particle counting with C-Imaging
